How it works

One booking. One briefing. Then go.

  1. 1

    Pick your thing

Games, pool, axes, or a combo of any of them. Build your own if the fixed packages don't fit. Groups and events: send an enquiry.

  2. 2

    One briefing

Axes get a five-minute safety briefing and kit; games and pool get a wristband or a table. Waivers are signed on your phone in the lounge, once, for everything in your ticket.

  3. 3

    Go

A coach in every axe lane, staff on the floor and at the tables.

  4. 4

    Finish in the lounge

Scores on the screen, a champion crowned, a photo on the way out. Then the pub, which is five minutes' walk.

Build your own

None of those quite right? Make one.

Pick what you want to do, how many of you there are and any extras. The price updates as you go, including the same savings as the fixed combos. Register interest in it, or save it to your early-access signup. No payment before we open. Games time comes with credits: tables free, most games a credit, the sims two. Pool is priced per table and split across your group.

Activities

Two activities save £5 a head, all three save £10.

How many of you

Groups of 7+ save another £5 a head. A pool table takes up to four, so pool gets cheaper per head as you add people. More than 24? Message us.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

What is Chillpit?

A games floor, pool tables and axe-throwing lanes under one roof in central Brighton, with a lounge and snack bar in the middle. Book one thing, pair two, or do the lot.

How does the games floor work?

A wristband buys time and credits together: 30 minutes with 15 credits is £8, an hour with 30 is £12, two hours with 50 is £18, or add an hour and 25 credits to any other activity for £9. Air hockey and table games are free, most cabinets cost a credit a go, racing sims, pinball and the dance machine two. Turn limits apply when someone's waiting, so nobody hogs a machine.

How much is pool?

Per table, for up to four players: £8 an hour off-peak (Monday to Friday until 6pm) or £12 peak (evenings, weekends and bank holidays); two hours £14 off-peak, £20 peak; three hours £20 off-peak, £28 peak; or £32 for a table from 6pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday. Booking ahead is free. Cues, chalk and balls are included; the tables are lights-down, no coins. League night most Tuesdays.

How old do I need to be?

Games floor: any age, under-12s with an adult. Pool: any age, under-16s with an adult. Axe throwing: 18+, or 14–17 with a parent or guardian in the lane.

Where exactly in Brighton are you?

Central Brighton. We're finalising the unit now and the early-access list will be the first to know the address, before we announce it publicly.

When do you open?

We're aiming for early 2027. Everyone on the early-access list gets priority booking for the opening weeks, before public slots go live.

Is there a bar?

No. There's a snack bar with soft drinks, hot drinks and snacks, and no alcohol anywhere in the building, which is what keeps the axes simple. The pub is five minutes' walk for afterwards.

What should I wear?

Closed-toe shoes for the axe lanes (trainers are perfect). Otherwise, whatever you like.

What is there to do in Brighton when it rains?

All of this. The games floor, pool tables and axe lanes are indoors, under one roof, with a lounge and snack bar between them. Book one thing or do the lot, and let it chuck it down outside.

Do you do student, NHS, Blue Light or forces discounts?

Yes: 10% off every session, every visit, for students, NHS staff and Blue Light Card holders, serving and veteran armed forces, teachers and key workers, with valid ID at check-in. One concession per person, on their own ticket. On your first session you get whichever is bigger, that or your 25% early-access discount.

Can we hire the whole venue?

Yes, and every hire includes the activities. Lounge plus one activity for up to 24 from £560 weekday daytime or £750 evenings, lounge plus two for up to 30, or the entire building with every table, lane and machine for up to 60. Christmas parties, launches, team days, birthdays and filming. See event space hire.

What's the 25% early-access offer?

Join the list and you get 25% off your first session, valid for 3 months after we open, plus priority booking. The first 100 people on the list also get a free hour on the games floor. No payment, no obligation.
